Annual Meeting - October 20 @7pm
At our annual meeting of members, we discussed the projected budget and dues for the 2009 season. We have sucessfully placed all board of director positions except for the social director. The duties of the social director are to capture and publish for board approval the minutes of each board meeting, maintain the official records at the clubhouse, and assist with other duties as assigned across the board. If you are interested in serving on the board as the secretary - please contact the President.

New Board
The new board at Brookfield has been established and met in November. You can find the board members listed on the board contacts page.

Brookfield Mission Statement

To provide a fun, friendly, family oriented atmosphere that promotes the club members' general health and welfare.

Goals:

Maintain a full membership

Provide safe and current facilities

Provide the resources for a vibrant and dynamic swim team environment that promotes competition and a fun team atmosphere.

Provide a variety of social events for all age groups.

Maintain the capital reserve fund at a level to respond to any immediate expense.

Clubhouse Rentals - contact the social director to reserve the clubhouse.

Decorative Brick Fundraiser - We need volunteers to lay in the decorative brick walkway. All bricks are now at the pool and we are currently planning the laying out of the new walkway. A date has not yet been assigned to the effort, but preferrably not the hottest day of the year. <grin> Please contact the pool administrator if you are interested in participating.

Annual Mailers:
A reminder for the second payment of the special assessment and a reminder to pay the 2009 dues will be available at the pool in August. We will mail out the annual mailers in January of 2009. If you do not receive your mailer, please contact the Membership director.
